Discovering Mathematics Outside the Norm!
We have been a club at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD since 2006. The goal of Math Club is to allow for those who appreciate the value of math to come together and express that passion through games, eating pizza, feature films, outreach into local schools, attending the MAA (Mathematics Association of America) meeting, and more!
This year we want to increase our involvement in the community, campus, and club activities.
We work closely with the BHSU Math Department faculty to allow for students to learn about interesting mathematics not covered in the classroom, answer questions about future careers, or just to spend time with some pretty great professors!
