Math Scavenger Hunt
"The miles on my car were the first 6 numbers of the Fibonacci Sequence! Each number is added to the previous number to get the next number. For example, 1+1=2, 2+1=3, 3+2=5, etc."

Math Club has decided to make this an annual event!
Submit Photos on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the #bhsumathclub MAKE SURE IT IS PUBLIC!!!!!!!! Submissions are accepted until November 22nd. Voting will begin on November 28th-December 2nd! Whoever has the most votes wins a gift card to the bookstore! |

Friday, April 15th at 4pm Orienteering Activity is located in the Young Center. The Hike will be at Roughlock Falls in Spearfish Canyon. Be sure to dress appropriately for an evening hike in April! |

November 7th-14th
(in collaboration with ISO's Curiosity Week) Ever notice math in everyday life??? Like that arc of the water fountain being a parabola? Photos are due November 14th at 12:00 PM (noon) Photos may be submitted via Facebook. In order for photos to be entered into the contest, they must contain all of the following hashtags: #BHSU #bhsumathclub #curiosityweek AND have a mathematical description. ALSO MAKE THE PHOTO PUBLIC TO EVERYONE ON FACEBOOK. Thank you. Winners will be judged on mathematical creativity and artistic ability. There will be a winner for each. |
