MAA Conference 2018
BHSU Math Club attended the Mathematical Association of America Rocky Mountain Section 2018 meeting in Greeley, CO. Abigail, Kerry, Jaelani, Emily, Burkelee, Jesse, and Tiffany attended lectures on Graph Theory, Euler's Equation, Golden Ratio, open source math material, and many other topics. The club also participated in another exciting math Jeopardy competition, with the math faculty cheering them on!

Math Club had a booth at the Campus Kickoff in the Young Center promoting our love of math... with sugar cookies!!! :)
2016 MAA Conference
Six Math Club Members (Brady, Emma, Libbi, Allison, Chrystina, and McKenna) attended the MAA (Mathematical Association of America) meeting in Grand Junction, Colorado. We learned a lot from professors and students. We participated in Student Jeopardy, and even though we didn't win we did beat the South Dakota School of Mines! :) Also, we attended a Rockies game in Denver.
Operation Christmas Child 2015
In collaboration with BHSU Connection, BHSU Math Club has been participating in Operation Christmas Child for the last three years. We usually spend upwards of $100 on different items to fill the boxes with and then pack the boxes to send them off! Here are some pictures from this year.
Math Scavenger Hunt - Fall 2015
BHSU Math Club collaborated with ISO in their Curiosity Week. The challenge was to find anything in Spearfish or on the BHSU campus that was remotely mathematical and take a picture of it. These are some of the entries!
Swarm Days 2015
This year, BHSU Math Club participated in Swarm Days by entering the banner competition. We didn't win any prizes, but our banner was certainly something to be proud of! Math Club also volunteered to distribute snacks at the "Watering Hole" one day during this week. Fear the sting!
